This theme recommends the Soliloquy Slider but you can use any slider system that provides a shortcode or page content embed.
If you decide to use the Soliloquy Slider as shown on the demo, your WordPress dashboard will have a “Soliloquy Slider” menu once the plugin is activated. The demo slider will be imported with the demo content XML file available in the all files download package.
Simply paste your slider shortcode into the page you’d like to assign to your Home Hero section:
If you’d like to display a slider at the top of your home page:
- Create a page called “Hero Slider”
- Paste your Soliloquy Slider shortcode into that page.
- Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Home: Hero and select this page form the option dropdown:
