When I visit my site on mobile devices, a “mobile version” comes up with an option to “View Full Site” at the bottom

The Jetpack mobile plugin enables a Mobile Theme by default when it is activated. Please try following this guide to disable it. http://www.wpzoom.com/docs/disable-jetpack-mobile-theme/
